About GoFly News

GoFly News is an independent, automated news portal for the paragliding community. We track the sport's most trusted international sources and republish their stories in five languages — Chinese, English, German, French and Italian — so that pilots everywhere can follow what is happening in free flight.

Our mission

Paragliding news is published in many languages, and great stories often never cross language borders. Our mission is to make the sport's journalism accessible to every pilot: competition results and record attempts, new wings and equipment, safety notices, technique, travel and the people who shape free flight — summarized faithfully and published the same day, in your language.

Where our stories come from

We aggregate publicly available RSS feeds from a curated set of sources: independent media such as Cross Country Magazine, Lu-Glidz, free.aero, OjoVolador and Coupe Icare, official bodies such as the FAI/CIVL and the DHV, and competition platforms such as CIVLComps, the Paragliding World Cup and Airtribune. Every article names and links the original reporting it is based on. If you run a paragliding publication and would like to be included — or removed — please get in touch.

How AI is involved

Aggregation, translation and rewriting are performed with AI assistance. The technology allows a tiny operation to publish in five languages at once, but it can make mistakes. Articles always link to the original sources, which remain the authoritative version of every story. Site operators review feeds and output regularly, and editorial decisions — which sources we monitor and how stories are framed — remain a human responsibility.

Corrections

If you spot an error — a wrong result, a mistranslation, a missing credit — we want to know. Contact us at corrections@goflyapp.xyz and we will fix the article and note the correction. Significant corrections are marked at the top of the updated article.
